Students Receiving Work Online and Attendance
Hello Sequoyah High School,
This email is in regards to Distance Learning. First, let’s address taking attendance. If you have access to your student portal (where you check your grades), it will be easy. Log into your student portal to check your grades, a question prompt will appear, “Are you present?” You click the “Yes or Present Button.” You will need to do this for all your classes every day we have school (we are out on Friday, April 10th and Monday, April 13th for Easter). The nice thing is you can take attendance all at once, for all your classes, during anytime that day. I would take attendance at the same time every day to make it a habit. It is important.
The teachers have worked very hard to insure that you are good to go with lessons for the upcoming weeks. We are trying to make this as stress free as possible, so if you have questions please do not hesitate to reach out to your teachers or me. You can access your work via the link below.
Make sure that you select the grade level you are in and then look for your name. Your classes should be in your folder. Download the folder to your laptop. When you are finished with an assignment, send it to your teacher. If your teacher has reached out to you with a different website like Get More Math, Newsela, or Edmodo, you follow the directions given to you by them.
Again, please contact someone if you have questions.
