Sequoyah 9th Grade 🏀 Festival is today, tomorrow, and Thurs. (11/7, 8, & 10), in The Place Where They Play. First game at 3:00, last game at 7:00 daily.
Sequoyah boys play Muldrow today at 5:00. Sequoyah girls play Coweta today at 6:00.


Pre-order your yearbook now through December 16th for $40 online at Jostens.com. Posters with QR codes are hung up around the school for easy access. Prices will go up after December 16th. See Mrs. Simmons for questions.

Engagement has been cancelled for Thursday, Nov. 3.

Due to the possibility of inclement weather, the Friday night events have been moved to Thursday evening. Senior Recognition will begin at 6:20 pm on the football field (escorts and seniors need to be on the visitor’s side at 6:05 pm to line up), the football game will begin at 7:00 pm, and the Pride of Sequoyah will perform their light show at halftime.
Students will still be virtual during the day on Friday. All students need to check Blackboard for assignments and check in with teachers accordingly.

Congratulations to SHS Cross Country! Boys placed 10th and girls placed 12th at the state meet Saturday in Edmond. Rylan Nofire placed 10th, earning him all-state honors. Anias Black was one of the top 15 seniors, so she will be a Senior All-Star.





Sequoyah High School will be virtual on Friday, Nov. 4th. The employee gathering scheduled to be at One Fire Field on Friday has been moved to our new gym due to the possibility of inclement weather. All students will need to check Blackboard for assignments and check in with each teacher according to their policy.
Senior Athlete Recognition Night ceremony will be in the old gym starting at 5:45 pm on Nov. 4th. All escorts and participating seniors need to be in the lobby of the old gym at 5:30 pm.

Tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 21st, is Late Start Friday. Students must report to cafeteria if they arrive 6:45 a.m. – 7:45 a.m.; 7:45 a.m. – 9:05 a.m. students report to the Old Gym.

REMINDER: SSR Jackets will be here tomorrow, Tues., Oct. 18, from 10:00am to 1:30pm, in the Rec. Room in the new gym, to take letterman jacket & patch orders. Any student who thinks they might want to order a jacket later this year is encouraged to try on the samples to determine the best size, even if you won't be placing an order at this time.
